Andrew Christopoulos was admitted to practice in 1989 after running a successful business in artist management. He joined a mid-tier insurance-based defendant practice and was promoted to the role of managing partner within 12 months. This put him in the enviable (or unenviable, depending on when you asked him) position of servicing most of the insurers in NSW.
A midlife conscience crisis led Andrew to reassess his career, and he started AC Lawyers in 2012. He brought 22 years of experience, and all the intelligence gathered while working for the dark side along with him.
Andrew shares an intense empathy with his clients. In fact, he drives over 1000kms a week to create and maintain the personal connections that he and his clients form.
This principle is not only at the heart of AC Lawyers but saw Andrew appointed as National President the Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA). The ALA is a national not for profit organisation working tirelessly in advocating for the rights and welfare of individuals in Australia.
In his free time, which equates to roughly 2 hours a week, Andrew is a keen photographer, beach runner, and writer. He is also a Judge for the Australian Chapter of the US National Corvette Restoration Society.
