Called to the law later in life with a background in mining & construction, Kellie was admitted to practice in 2019. With a demonstrated history of advocating for plaintiffs in complex litigation, Kellie commenced her legal career in the class action space before finding her passion in personal injury law, acting for survivors of historic institutional child sexual abuse. Driven by her strong sense of social justice and not one to shy away from a fight, Kellie is a fierce advocate for her clients.
Kellie sits on the Board of Directors of Kids in Care, a charity close to her heart in both a personal and professional capacity. Kids in Care’s mission is to advance social and public welfare by providing support without discrimination to any at-risk children and those living in poverty within the ACT and neighbouring regions of NSW. Like Andrew, Kellie is also a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance, and most recently fell into the role of Manager for her son’s junior rugby league team.
Outside of work, Kellie is fighting the uphill battle of raising four children that share her advocacy skills. Kellie’s husband doesn’t appreciate her professional standing and much prefers using her skills as a trades assistant whilst restoring their classic cars. When her children aren’t getting on her last nerve, Kellie enjoys taking her family to new restaurants, sports games and on adventures. Having spent most of her life living in rural and remote communities within Australia, Kellie enjoys travelling domestically and abroad whenever the opportunity arises.
